Sono stati svelati tutti i vincitori della Visual Effects Society per la stagione cinematografica 2026 e che, insieme alle nomination agli Oscar e ai recenti Golden Globe, European Film Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Gotham Awards, New York Film Critics Circle Awards e National Board of Review, ci porta a tuffarci di fatto nel pieno della cosiddetta Awards Season, ovvero quel lungo periodo che sfocerà nella cerimonia degli Academy Awards, in programma nella notte tra il 15 e 16 marzo 2026. Come prevedibile, Avatar: Fuoco e Cenere domina e si porta a casa tutti i riconoscimenti per cui era in corsa (tranne uno), con il film di James Cameron che lascia solamente le briciole ai suoi rivali, in primis KPop Demon Hunters. Quando e dove vedere in Italia in streaming la cerimonia degli Oscar 2026

Dopo mesi di premi e di riconoscimenti da parte di varie gilde statunitensi e premi di rilievo come gli European Film Awards e, soprattutto, le nomination ai 98esimi Academy Awards, con i vincitori della Visual Effects Society siamo definitivamente nel pieno della stagione dei premi che ci condurrà alla cerimonia degli Oscar: ma quando si terrà e dove sarà possibile vederla? La Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences consegnerà i prestigiosi premi Oscar nella notte tra il 15 e 16 marzo 2026 al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles e sarà possibile seguire in streaming la cerimonia di consegna delle statuette su Hulu e ABC Network, così come per i prossimi due anni, prima della rivoluzione: dal 2029 infatti, la cerimonia si sposterà su youtube. In Italia sarà possibile seguire l’evento su Rai 1 e Rai Play.
